(Blog [and Twitter]Reflections)
Briefly reflect on lessons learnt from this practical:
a. Do you think it is more effective to search the invisible web (databases) than using search engines, meta-search or subject directories? Why?
b. Will you use the invisible web (databases) for research in your own respective Diplomas? Why?
c. What have you learnt from your wiki experience during this practical?

a.Yes , for me this is the first time touch invisible web, usually i am doing my research use other common search engine like yahoo or google.when i first see it ,i feel confuse and lost in massive data types in front of me , it is complicated with too many information i want,it is riched with information. The data inside invisible web is more than other search engine can contian. This is good but difficult to use ,even you can get what you want exactly but i require a lot of time to do it .It is accurated but slow compare with search engine.

b.I think i will use the invisible web for my respective Diplomas beacuse it got more authority information than other search engine which is very helpful.

Firstly this is a "public speaking"web site "which every one can post their personal video or picture on it and talk about it ,so the problem is "is those information ture?". Sometimes the personal video dose not need accuracy ,they just post for make others fun,but like"four men openly molest a girl " everybody got different say, which is the truth?because this is not happened personally,we need to know the truth.Thats why i am use accuracy to evaluate Stomp.

I got understand Stomp from this lesson. At start i wonder why the name "Stomp" for this website? After i spent one hour on viewing picture ,videos and news on it .I knew this is the website you can post everything you want from personal activity to society issue ,it is no limitation !Thats why "Stomp"! every body come and post and go ····just like" Stomp "!It represent freedom of speaking .it is free to say anything on it ,so there is the range i am looking about ,how many different source it may contained?Of cause it as more as better.because after i saw some very funny video ,i laughting and tring to find some more this kind of news or videos.

b.

B)Which evaluation criteria did you used to evaluate the multimedia website for your dream holiday? Why?
C)Why did you choose to go to your dream holiday destination?

When i was a child i always complain to my parents ,why the weather is so hot ?can we move to some where with snow all around the us ?so we can enjoy play with snow battling and skee whenever we want( actually i dont like "HOT")

One day i finally found one place that can let my dream come ture -Moscow.

Moscow's continental climate enjoys five seasons: spring, summer, autumn, winter - and Russian winter. The deepest, darkest part of winter is undeniably cold, but if you are prepared, it can be an adventure. Furs and vodka keep people warm, and snow-covered landscapes are picturesque. A solid snow pack covers the ground from November to March. The lowest recorded temperature is -42°C, although it's normally more like -10°C for weeks on end. Occasional southerly winds can raise the temperature briefly to a balmy 0°C. Daylight hours during winter are very few.

That is it !!cold ! snow ! It represent the purity, nothing is more bueatiful than this on the world, this is the place exactly i am looking for !imagine you walking outside with all white around you .how wonderful this could be !

Another attraction of Moscow is Food !I like to eat so much ,especially other countrys traditional food .I always wonder what kind of food the people in Moscow usally eat?Is is spicey?or sour?

Dating back more than a century, the Yeliseyevsky food store in the heart of fast-changing Moscow is considered to be the city's finest. The renovation of the lighting - a stunning combination of the old and the new - was designed to bring out the best in a recently restored building brimming with potential.

A historic building in a historic setting. Yeliseyevsky food store, opened in 1901 by a St. Petersburg merchant, is housed in a late 18th century classical mansion close to Pushkin Square, glittering with chandeliers, stained glass and gilt wall decorations. The products sold here are as fine as the surroundings - it is reputed to be one of the best places in town to buy caviar.

Part of an extensive renovation project, the challenge facing Philips Lighting was to increase the average lighting level in the main food hall (a space measuring 30 x 21 x 12 m3) from 50 lux to 700 lux without increasing the power consumption - power supply is limited in the centre of Moscow - and in such a way that the fixtures did not mar the beauty of this historical monument.

Everything in the luxurious interior was to be kept unchanged, including the two grand chandeliers. A total of 140 reflector lamps (CDM-R 35 W/830) are installed as 'mini-floodlights' in the upper clusters of each chandelier, and 110 incandescent lamps in the lower clusters. The reflector lamps offer high efficiency, good colour rendering and a compact, lightweight light source. The incandescent lamps mask the reflector lamps and make the completely rewired chandeliers glitter. Twenty visually less appealing MVF415 floodlights are well concealed behind the decorative wall panels. Thus, with a combination of direct and indirect lighting skilfully distributed within the space, the lighting design produced more than a 10-fold rise in lighting level without increasing power consumption, thus transforming the somewhat dark patina of over 100 years into a bright, sunny and inspiring shopping area.

On the other hand ,Moscow's architectures also attract me alot . Eploring the Kremlin Grounds, Cathedrals and Patriarch's Palaces in Moscow!
